This page explains which cookies blackramaudio.com uses and why. For the wider picture of how we handle personal data, see the Privacy Policy.
The headline first: there are no advertising cookies and no tracking pixels on this site. No Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no TikTok Pixel, nothing comparable. The only measurement we run is Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookie, stores nothing in your browser, does not try to recognise your device, and counts totals rather than individuals — see 2.5. Every cookie listed below is one the shop needs in order to work.
1. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file a website leaves in your browser. Your browser sends it back on your next request, which is how the site remembers that your basket has something in it or that you are signed in. Cookies cannot run programs, read your files or carry malware.
Your browser’s local storage does a similar job, with one difference: it is never sent to the server. Both are covered here.
2. The cookies we use

2.2 Strictly necessary — security

Cloudflare is the security and delivery layer sitting in front of the site. These cookies are what makes its abuse filtering work; block them and the site may not load at all.
2.3 Local storage — audio player preference

These two values stay in your browser. They are never sent to our server and are not tied to any identity. Their only job is to stop the volume resetting every time you play a different demo.
2.4 Third-party content
Page typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts. Google sets no cookie in that request, but your browser’s IP address does reach Google when it asks for the font file. This transfer is also listed in section 4 of the Privacy Policy.
There are no embedded YouTube, Vimeo, Instagram, map or social media widgets on this site. Product demos play in our own player.
2.5 Visitor measurement — without cookies
To see how often the site is visited and how quickly pages load, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. What sets it apart from other measurement tools is how it works:
- It sets no cookie and uses no local storage. It leaves nothing behind in your browser.
- It does not fingerprint you. Your IP address, user agent or any other signal is not combined to recognise you as an individual.
- Measurement comes from a small script that reads your browser’s own Performance API and reports it in aggregate; no record of which visitor viewed which page is created.
- The data is processed by Cloudflare, Inc., so this is an international transfer; the legal basis is set out in section 4 of the Privacy Policy.
Because no cookie or comparable tracker is involved, this measurement does not require your consent.
3. Why there is no cookie banner
Under the EU ePrivacy rules and the Turkish Data Protection Authority’s Guidelines on Cookie Practices, consent is required for cookies that are not strictly necessary. Cookies needed to deliver a service the visitor asked for — a session, a basket, a security check — do not require consent.
Everything in the tables above is either strictly necessary or a preference that never leaves your browser. We run nothing for advertising or profiling, and the visitor measurement described in 2.5 is cookieless, so there is nothing to ask your consent for, and no banner to close.
If we ever move to an analytics or marketing tool that uses cookies or comparable trackers, we will update this policy and will only run that tool after obtaining your consent.
4. Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies from your browser settings, or ask to be prompted for each one:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
To clear local storage, use your browser’s “delete site data” option.
Note: blocking strictly necessary cookies will break the basket and sign-in. That is not a fault; it is what turning them off does.
5. Changes
We update this policy when the tools used on the site change. The date at the bottom shows the last revision.
