Refund and Cancellation Policy

Türkçe sürüm

This page explains how refunds work on digital products. Plainly: downloadable products carry no statutory right of withdrawal, but we do have a refund policy, and exactly when we refund is written out below.

1. Why there is no cooling-off period

Our products are delivered the moment payment clears: your download link is generated immediately and the files are yours.

For customers in Türkiye, Article 15(1)(ğ) of the Distance Contracts Regulation excludes “contracts for services performed instantly in an electronic environment, or intangible goods delivered instantly to the consumer” from the right of withdrawal.

For customers in the EU and the UK, Article 16(m) of the Consumer Rights Directive (and the equivalent UK provision) removes the 14-day right of withdrawal for digital content supplied on a non-tangible medium, where supply has begun with your prior express consent and your acknowledgement that you thereby lose that right. You give that consent and that acknowledgement when you confirm the order.

So once your order is complete, the 14-day cooling-off period no longer applies.

2. That does not mean you are stuck with a faulty product

This distinction is worth spelling out, because it is often confused. The right of withdrawal is a “changed my mind” right, and digital downloads do not carry one. Rights over faulty or misdescribed goods are a different thing, and they remain.

If what you receive does not have the qualities we described, or does not work as advertised, you are entitled to a fix, a replacement, a price reduction or your money back — under Turkish Consumer Protection Law No. 6502, under the EU Digital Content Directive (2019/770) for EU consumers, and under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 for UK consumers. No policy on this page overrides those rights.

3. When we refund

We refund in full in the following cases, whether or not a cooling-off period applies:

a) The files are corrupt or incomplete. The archive will not open, files are damaged, or content listed on the product page is missing from the pack, and we could not fix it within {{DESTEK_SURESI}}.

b) The product is not what it was described as. The description, file count, format, sample rate or length on the product page does not match what you received.

c) The plugin does not run on a system we said we support. It fails on an operating system and DAW version explicitly listed as supported on the product page, and we could not solve it within {{DESTEK_SURESI}}.

d) Duplicate payment. You were charged twice for the same product, or the same order was collected twice.

e) You bought the same product twice by mistake. If you re-purchased something already in your account, the second purchase is refunded.

f) The download link never arrived and we could not deliver one.

4. When we do not refund

a) A change of mind. “It did not sound how I expected”, “I do not need it any more”, “I bought it by accident” are not refund grounds. This is exactly why every product has a playable demo: listen before you buy.

b) A system or DAW that was never listed as supported. System requirements are on every product page; please read them first.

c) “I downloaded it but never used it.” A download cannot be taken back.

d) The work you made with it did not turn out as you hoped. These are production tools; the result is yours.

e) Sharing a download link or licence key with a third party. In that case the refund request is not processed and the licence terminates.

5. How to ask

  1. Write to {{DESTEK_EPOSTA}}, or use the contact form.
  2. Include three things: your order number, the email address you bought with, and what went wrong. For a technical problem, add your operating system, your DAW, and a screenshot of any error.
  3. We reply within three business days.

For a technical fault we will try to fix it first and refund if we cannot. The point is not to stall you; it is that if the problem is fixable, you get to keep the product.

6. How and when the money comes back

6.1 Approved refunds go back to the payment method you used. We cannot refund to a different account or instrument.

6.2 We start the refund within fourteen days at the latest.

6.3 Because payment is taken through {{ODEME_SAGLAYICI}}, how long it takes to appear on your card or account is up to your bank, and can be one to three weeks. That part is outside our control.

6.4 When a product is refunded, your licence to it ends: delete your copies of the files and stop using any licence key. For work you already released using it, see clause 8 of the License Agreement.

7. Cancelling an order

You can cancel by emptying your basket at any time before payment is confirmed. Once payment clears the product is delivered, so from that point it is a refund rather than a cancellation and the conditions above apply.

8. If we cannot agree

If we turn your request down and you are not satisfied:

  • Consumers in Türkiye may apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committees or the Consumer Courts, according to the monetary thresholds published annually by the Ministry of Trade.
  • Consumers in the EU may use the consumer dispute resolution body in their country of residence.
  • Consumers in the UK may contact Citizens Advice or an approved ADR body.

We would rather sort it out directly. Write to {{DESTEK_EPOSTA}} and say what would make it right.
